Application-Based Development of Alternative and Augmentative Communication System for Children with Cerebral Palsy

Based on the observation results, children with cerebral palsy were subjects of study. They communicate using gestures such as pointing accompanied by meaningless vocalizations. Only some people can immediately understand what child intends. When they need something, will cry and scream. these obstacles, media an alternative augmentative communication system that support them in communicating their modalities needs, one which is symbolic pictures voice output. This research aims to design program based children's assessment results. uses a qualitative approach data collection techniques interviews, observations, documentation. The study results expected be implemented comprehensive tool assist communication.
